Type of Volcano

Fuego is a composite or stratovolcano.  Composite volcanoes are formed by lava and rock layers alternating.  They are steep and symmetrical cones.  It is a continental volcano.

Fuego is located in Guatemala.  Guatemala is on the Caribbean plate.

Fuego is erupting daily. The eruption of Fuego in 1932.
